1. Collect cash from each machine individually. Do not combine cash from multiple machines.
2. Record the cash amount from each machine in a log before depositing it in the safe.
3. Verify that the cash count matches the machine’s internal cash counter if that feature is available.
4. Note any discrepancies between the physical cash count and the expected amount based on machine activity.
5. Sign and date the collection log. Two-person verification is recommended for accuracy and security.
Reconciliation
6. Pull the machine payout log for the same period as the cash collection.
7. Calculate the difference between cash intake and payout log for each machine.
8. Flag any machine with a deviation above 3% for investigation.
9. Check the anti-cheat device event log for blocked signals on flagged machines.
10. Document the daily reconciliation results and file them for weekly and monthly comparison.
